Why are phones such as ALL current Apple devices(iPhone X, iPhone 8/8+, iPhone 7/7+, iPhone 6S/6S+) and the Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL not included on this list?

Hi rcschnoor, thanks for your feedback. This was a list of Android smartphones that were certified through Verizon's open development certification program but we will add the Pixels and look into creating a second post with Apple devices so the list is complete. Thanks again.

But am I correct, that just because a phone is listed, it doesn't mean that it will work with all of Verizon's features. Example, the unlocked Samsung S9's do not allow all HD features. (ie WIFI calling)

Hi CLAPAR21
Great question. Yes you are correct. The GS9 Unlocked supports HD Voice but currently does not support Verizon's WiFi calling or video calling. We are working with our partners to grow our Verizon services support for unlocked devices.

Hi mattnathaniel12
Yes, the Sony XZ2 compact is compatible with Verizon 4G. It does not support CDMA. Thanks for asking.

So Verizon will not support a SIM in a Huawei Honor 5C - is that correct?

If that phone model isn't listed, then it isn't certified.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thank you Carol. I’ve gone with a 30 day T-Mobile pre-pay SIM as that is compatible.
