Teacher Scammed by Verizon Rebate Offer

Verizon Wireless has scammed me with their Fallswith250 rebate offer.   I am due 500$ because I added two lines and also purchased an Iphone 12 through them.

I was happily with another provider for over 10 years "Net10", but my daughter wanted to get a provider that could offer her 5G.   After reviewing all the offers, I decided on Verizon because of the teacher discount (problem with this offer too) and the $250 rebate x2 for my family.

I went to the website provided and entered in the information.   It was accepted and I did this process twice for both lines purchased.  The disclaimer on the rebate page states that rebates will not be process for up to 4 weeks.   I called Verizon the next week to inform them that I did not receive an email, and I do not see any information on my account about the rebate.  I was told by the agent that it could take up to 4 weeks before I see the rebate.  I was just given a phone number to the rebate handling center and they state that they do not have my rebate showing.  They said I need to contact Verizon again to see why I did not get the email verification , or rebate.   I am tired of wasting my time call this company and not getting the problems resolved.   Unless they correct this rebate issue and give me the 2 rebates for $250 each, I will switch to another provider.  I am extremely frustrated that switching to Verizon has been so stressful.

The teacher discount was problematic too.   It has taken over three months for the process to be accepted after two attempts and I have still another month before I can see the teacher credit.

I thought that this was a problem only for me, but through this online system, I see that it is an ongoing problem that has frustrated may people for several years.

I would hope that Verizon will want to do what is right and help me get what was advertised .

Seems to be a frequent problem reported on here often about rebates seems in summary that Verizon plays the wait and wait longer Gam perhaps hoping you forget and magically when that rebate or offer ends it's oops to bad don't qualify now or it ended

Hello, being on top of your offers is vital, especially if you are managing the account. The last thing we want is for you to have a negative impression of us. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We are glad to read the Teacher Discount was accepted, however, we are sad to see it took two tries. We are also surprised to see you are having issues with the Rebate Promo. We want to make things right. What did the deal consist of? How did you submit the Rebate? When did you apply for it?

Marieed, getting a rebate should be a smooth process, and we apologize for the troubles you've encountered. You mentioned a report was filed regarding your rebates. How long ago was this filed? Were you able to check the status of your rebate here: http://spr.ly/6604HnFbo ? If you don't have your rebate tracking number, you can use your account information.
