Hi. I currently have the plan above and get 20% off for employee discount so thats why its 32/mo. The 5GB, as you can see, is retired since 4GB costs more than my current plan of 5. My line is eligible for an upgrade, if I buy the Note10+ on Samsung.com can I keep that device on this plan even though it's retired and do it as a BYOD? Will they force me to change plans?

They shouldn't force you to change your plan.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

You can buy a new phone anywhere, provided it works on Verizon's system and put the SIM from your current phone into the new phone. The new phone will show on your Verizon account and your plan will stay the same. I have done this many times over the years.

5GB isn't a retired plan, it's a plan meant for single smart phones. It's cheaper because it's not compatible with multiple smart phones the way the family 4GB is.
