jmashby, it breaks our heart to see you feel this way, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Being on top of your rebates is vital, especially if you are missing a couple of them. Please tell us more, what did the promotion consist of? Why were you advised they were invalid?

Same problem. Left my previous carrier of 13 years on 10 July 2019. CSR sold me new phone and all accessories. I joined my husband's plan. I submitted my rebate application within 2 days. Got my denial email 11 Sep. Resubmitted and got my second denial 27 Sep. Excuse was invalid plan. After waiting on hold at home for rebate center for over 15 minutes, I went to local store. Waited an hour yesterday then made appt. with CSR who sold me phone and all. Waited 45 minutes past appt. time to be seen. He said I was not eligible because I didn't get an unlimited plan. He never disclosed this to me in the beginning when I made the switch. His fix was for me to upgrade to unlimited for an additional 30/mo. and then change the plan when I got my rebate! Do the math. I told him that was not acceptable. My husband has stage IV cancer and I don't have time so deal with a dishonest CSR. I love Verizon coverage, but don't plan to stay with them if this is not made right.

That is terrible. Bait-and-Switch. people need to be honest. But, I guess if our congressmen enrich themselves illegally and repetitively then it is not a far stretch for the companies to follow it. Biden and Hunter certainly coerced their way to over $1 billion.

I have the same issue and just filed a FTC complaint....When I entered into this contract with Verizon, I was promised a promotional rebate of $400.00 for 2 lines in the form of Visa cards. Per thier contract they have 45 days to complete the rebate and mail the cards out. This transaction began 7.5.2019 and to date I have not recevied either card. I have been given multiple tracking number and noone can tell me when I am to receive these cards or if someone has activated them.I have fullfilled my contract and paid my bill monthly even though Verizon has failed to honor theirs. I want out of my contract since Verizon can not seem to honor their end of the deal. I give you full permission to speak on my behalf. Please visit this link https://community.verizonwireless.com/t5/Bring-Your-Own-Device/Rebate-Scam/td-p/1118817 and see that I am not the only customer having this issue. We all deserve a resolution than Verizon ca not seem to provide or cancellation of our contracts.

They scammed me too. I ported 2 numbers from tmobile. The first on came as promised. The second on is mysteriously lost. With this company you get a different lie every time you call. I'm going back to Tmobile. Better network. Much better customer service.

Yabby1979, we always want you to experience the very best with our customer service. I am concerned to read that you have not been able to get the support that you need, and have been given information that is inconsistent. If you change your mind and would like some assistance, we'd be glad to help.

There are no contracts for service. The only "contract" is if you financed your phone and these are common with all major carriers -- can also be paid off at any time.

Do you folks in Verizon customer support really think anybody believes what you say?  You're probably just a computer program randomly generating "caring" replies.  It's a shame that such a great network is owned and run by liars and cheats.

Same problem.  Verizon is putting misleading info in Rebate "rules:

SeptSwitch200 - rule 2 of 4 from thier disclaimer verbiage

"Purchase a smartphone that costs $550 or more on device payment, online, in-store, or by calling us"

I bought online but they rejected rebate because had to be on device payment plan.

Very misleading by their own phrasing.  Even underlining how you can do it.

Shame on you Verizon !

Heading back to my old carrier don't care if I have to pay fees.   Priciples are still important.
