Beware of Rebate Fraud

Consumer beware! Switched two lines to Verizon and ported numbers for their promotional $250 per line event, for a total of $500 dollars. Was "approved" for the rebate in December, and have been promised the cards for three months now. Third party company processing the rebate keeps giving excuses as to why the rebate cards aren't being sent out. Company constantly keeps pushing us off "7 to 1p days". We'll be canceling our service and returning to AT&T. Customers aren't stupid. If you lie to the about $500 bucks, they tend to take it seriously.

Will also be filing a complaint with the FTC for rebate fraud.

This is never the experience that we would want for our customers. Not having the rebate that was promised to you would also upset me as a customer also. Our goal is to make sure your issues are resolved and continue service with us. With regard to your concerns you mentioned a third party company was processing the rebate. To clarify, where did you get the phone from? JasperM_VZW
