Our Up To Speed residency took us around the country, including our Boston Hub – complete with a fashion show, courtesy of one of our small business customers. We also went across the pond to check out the London 5G Lab and our EMEA and APAC colleagues who serve Verizon Business customers globally. While there, Verizon Business announced a stadium and venue strategy, deploying WiFi solutions at Manchester Unit...Verizon Business even made its way to the Indianapolis 500, where one of our ‘fastest’ customers, the Penske Corporation, showed us how Verizon connectivity plays a crucial role in the largest single-day sporting event.

Verizon Business continued to bolster its efforts with cybersecurity. Verizon’s 2022 Data Breach Investigations Report highlighted an exceptional year in cybersecurity, amid ransomware attacks year over year being greater than the past five years combined. Verizon’s Mobile Security Index 2022 revealed 45% of companies surveyed suffered a cybersecurity compromise in the past 12 months. We also supported Japan’s FUJIFILM Group, with the advanced security operations center aiming to strengthen its global cybersecurity monitoring and cyber intelligence capabilities.

We also had the privilege of Verizon Frontline being honored as EMS FDNY Help Fund’s “Partner of the Year.”

In June, we paid tribute to long-time Verizon leader Tami Erwin and named Verizon Business’s new CEO, Sowmyanarayan Sampath. And in July, Verizon was awarded more than $400M to expand the FBI’s network infrastructure, data and voice solutions, and a $1.58B Task Order from the Department of State to modernize U.S. embassies around the world.

The Verizon Connect team continued to WOO, WOW and WIN, from the QuickBooks integration to completing a full cloud migration to AWS, plus a partnership with Sawatch Labs enabling new fleet management functions exclusively for electric vehic.... Verizon Connect even launched their AI Dashcam, making it easier to reward good driving and detect unsafe driving habits or crashes.

Verizon also delivered faster connections to 64 Native American reservations in 13 states – a network investment across diverse tribal lands that continues to connect thousands of students in need of connectivity.

In the fall, Verizon launched its Enterprise Intelligence campaign with a look at Associated British Ports, highlighting the role that Verizon’s market leading network and solutions play in driving mission-critical digitization for its customers.

Alongside Visionable, Verizon Business expanded a healthcare partnership enabling both companies to work on a range of sol...Additionally, Verizon and Lockheed Martin came together to demonstrate 5G-connected Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capabilities with high speed, low latency drones for the Department of Defense.
