hi i was just wondering if i purchase the blackberry Q or the storm do you have to have email on the accountt?   In other words i dont really want the email but i really want the phone.

You don't have to set up an email on the phone, no. But you will still be required to pay the $29.99 data plan for unlimited web browsing and email. All Blackberrys/Smartphones require this data plan.

Why would you not want the access to your emails on your phone??  No offense but you are getting  a BB you know....

Agreed.  Push email is one of the great features of the Blackberry.  But, in his defense, I work with a guy with a Pearl who never setup an email account on his, so to each his own.
