can you cancel a text after you've sent it but before its delivered?

Ive sent a text, but i want to retrieve it. It is not showing the "D" for already delivered. Is there a way to do it?

im no expert, but i dont think thats possible. there are many texts ive sent that i wish i couldve said " eeh, nevermind" to.    but hey, what do i know?

Hi,

No, once a messge or email is sent, that's it.  You can not cancel the delivery.
