The Verizon Z30 was launched with OS 10.2.0
The update is to OS 10.2.1
Verizon has yet to release the Z30 10.2.1 update, should be coming soon from all that I have read.
And quite honestly, it's an awesome update to the Z20.

I got sick of waiting for 10.2.1 on my Q10 so I downloaded Sachesi (instructions/links at CrackBerry) and grabbed the Rogers 10.2.1 OS. It's so easy and there is no telling when Verizon will get it's act together. At this point there really is no other choice. Everybody and his mother has 10.2.1, but Big Red is fumbling in the dark.
Me, upon seeing the Z30 at the store. "Cool, it's already got 10.2! I can run APKs natively!"
Me, upon getting my Z30, and realizing that's 10.2.1. "Crap, well, it'll be out soon enough"

I think i've learned some of the truth.
New Android phone: 1 month from release on other providers
New Windows phone: 4 months from original "leak"
Android Updates: 5 months from release date
Windows Updates: 2 months from release date
BlackBerry Updates: ?????
I just ordered a Z30 at a no contract price to add to the other 2 BB's I have on Verizon. My parents Z10 got the 10.2.1 update a month ago. No Q10 or Z30 support from Verizon, yet other carriers released the update to all models at the same time. I hardly think it's Blackberry's fault. I'll give them a few weeks and then find another carrier. Verizon costs me an arm and a leg for their "#1 network" but it's cheaper to pay early term fees and get new BB's at a discount on a new carrier.
