I don't understand why so many people have problems with their phones.  I just got a used Storm to tide me over until another BB comes out that I want and its been problem-free.  There is a learning curve with these things, but it seems to me if you really understand how to use the thing, do a bare minimum of research, ask the right questions on forums like these and pay attention to memory, applications and downloads and such, there should be no reason why these phones don't work consistently.

Further, the few times I've called VZW I can't praise them highly enough for solving all my issues right away.

Its almost like the complainers are using and talking to a different company than I am.

+1, rayneman!

I've always had the best service from Verizon. And I am a total pain too because I'm always switching devices and calling with questions.

NONSENSE!! You MUST be a Verizon employee. This is the only logical explanation of why you're posting something NICE.

I used to have the Storm and after messing up so many times and returning to the store 10000 times they changed it about 5 times and finally the **bleep** thing crashed! I lost everything! I was **bleep** and went back to the store so they ended up given me my 6th phone which was the Storm2. The storm2 is 1000000 times better. It has not frozen on me yet. BUT my boyfriend and I have decided to go back to t-mobile for the sucky service they have (verizon). I used to have verizon a few years ago but then switched to t-mobile, but then we recently decided to go back to verizon because we thought their phones and service were better because they used to be really good. THEY SUCK! Not to mention the people that work at verizon are neanderthals! They kept getting our address wrong after explaining 6 times!! Theyre overpriced for such horrible service!!! My calls keep getting dropped! My boyfriend and I never had so many problems with t-mobile, Their phones arent that advanced, still good but not as advanced BUT I never had them freeze on me. Not to mention if you have a problem with t-mobile they do try and work with you. Verizon has turned into those cheap phone companies who have begun to be greedy and could care less about their customers. I cant wait to get out after having them for 3 months!

This is in response to bstorm2b:

I completely disagree with you! I had t-mobile and I did not have problems with their phones. The only reason i swtiched to verizon was because I knew a lot of people with the same company. However, we are all realizing that their phones are cheap quality, their customer service is horrible, and they try to cheat you. I believe the person and all others who bump heads with vzw are helping others because they are all warning them about the company. I was a HUGE fan of verizon until they started going into the slums. I can believe how cheap and careless they have become.

My question is, if you are so unhappy with the phone, why do you dislike Verizon Wireless?  It doesn't make sense, as they provide the service, they do not manufacture the phones.

He's unhappy with Verizon Wireless because he recieved poor customer service from them.

My husband and I have had the same issues with our Blackberry. I've had to replace mine 3 times so far.  We have been Verizon customers for 9 years and I would think they would value their customers and try to help solve the issues. I have talked to multiple stores and I get "we haven't seen many problems with the storm" and "we've seen A LOT of issues and have to replace them all of the time. I'm contacting Blackberry to give them a piece of my mind because Verizon already knows how I fee. :smileymad::smileyindifferent:

I totally agree with you here.  I have had the storm 1 from day 1 and it had a few minor issues and I did have to get it replaced once, but since then it has been perfeft!  I feel that as long as you know how to use the device correctly and not load up a bunch of 3rd party apps, you should be good.  Also, the few times I have called customer care, they have been AWESOME to deal with!  I have had AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile in the past and hands down verizon is the best!

I guess I can understand if you've had bad experiences with Verizon customer service but why do you complain to Verizon about a Blackberry issue? Do you call your cable company when your TV screen  goes bad?

Exactly the same for me word for word including the S1. I have been with Verizon from '02 and CS has treated me with respect and Value.
