People can't hear me - intermittent

I have a fairly new BB Bold 9650. Frequently, during a conversation all of a sudden the person I'm talking to cannot hear me at all. Not muffled or anything like that, but cannot hear me at all. I've done numerous battery pulls, wiped the device and reinstalled the OS with no improvement. This is extremely frustrating for business conference calls.

Getting ready to switch carriers because of very poor Verizon customer service. But, before I do - any proven fixes for this?

Not that I have heard of, most people that I talk with on my Bold think that I am calling them from a landline because of the excellent clarity of the phone.

That is one of the primary reasons for me getting the BB, the excellent "phone" part of the smart phone (as opposed to my iPhone).

Perhaps you need a warranty replacement.

My third Bold (had replacements - still failed). My fourth BB. No more BB or Verizon for me - my iPhone was much better for call quality.

Thanks.

I had an iPhone 4 for a couple of days prior to this BB. The iPhone had excellent call quality, but would not sync with me Lotus Notes Calendar. So, I turned it back in to Verizon and got this Blackberry. Now, I have no need to sync with LN and I'm stuck with a phone where people cannot hear me talk occasionally. Very frustrating.

The ONLY replacement option I would consider in a smartphone is another iPhone4. But your customer service folks and store managers will not accomodate this, even though I've been a customer with multiple lines since 1995.
