Blackberry Email help

I have a gmail account set up on my blackberry and have never created an account with BIS.  How can I turn off a duplicate email being sent to me when I send one myself.  It is super annoying and I am not sure how to do it.

You can log into your blackberry internet service at ttps://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw

 For your Gmail account, create a new filter:

     Apply filter when: "From" field

     contains: {your_email_here} @ gmail.com
