I bought my Storm at the end of April, 2009. I checked the software version and it is v220.127.116.11. When I tried to upgrade to the latest sotware, it tells me that there are no upgrades available. Can anyone tell me what the latest version of "official" software is. Not any leaked software. If there is a better version out there, how would I go about getting it? any help is greatly appreciated.
So right now you are running the official OS. Here is the link to check that.
Here is a link to my latest post about VZW testing new OS's. Word is that VZW has passed this OS and that it will be push onto the network this weekend. Check out my thread:

Verizon BlackBerry Storm May Finally Get An Update
Word on the street is that the Verizon BlackBerry Storm will receive an official software update, BlackBerry
OS 18.104.22.168, this coming Sunday, May 31st.
"I have tried to download the new software and my phone does not have enough application memory left. I dont want to delete apps. in order to free up space."
I had this same issue last night while trying to do the OTA upgrade. I finally gave up and called tech support to get the update site www.blackberry.com/update. I beleive you can also update through the desktop manager. This ran much faster and did not need to store the upgrade image on the phone.
That's Good News...
Because Plan "B" was to Upgrade your Memory Card to 16 GB..
