Any release dates for the Tour 2?

I was eligible for an upgrade on 3/21.  I have the Motorola droid.  I only have until 4/21 to return it (30 days).  I really wanted the Tour 2 and wanted to know if anyone has an estimated arrival date.  I.e.: will it be out ASAP?

I would have bought the regular Tour, but hate buying anything knowing they are discontinuing it.  Thoughts?

Any advice would be welcome,

thanks

Chris

The rumor is May 8 or 9, but I've seen many a rumored data come and go in the past several months. Since the release will come some time after the announcement (I think it'll be announced at WES later this month), you will have to make a decision on your Droid before then.

Keep in mind too that you can upgrade next March if yours is the primary line. That way, you can enjoy your Droid for a while and learn what the new device's bugs are before committing.

As many times as this phone has been pushed back I hope there are NO bugs. The Bold 9650 should be a great phone. I still think it is so close to a  Bold 9700 why dont they just put the CDMA radio in that phone .

I was told by a Verizon employee that it will be sometime later in April. However, no guarantees as to when. And there has been rumor after rumor with this phone.

Meh, as far as the bold 9650 being a great phone.... I don't think so.  Because its the same exact thing as the Tour, just with added trackpad and wi-fi.  Only thing that makes the blackberries work great is the OS.

Most of the problems in these forums is from the Blackberry OS. Its UI is like something from the stone age next to Android and Iphone. Hopefully OS 6 is what OS 5 should have been. I am not taking anything away from the security the RIM os provides, its phenominal but it really needs a overhaul.

AS far as the Bold, It will be a good phone. The primary issues that I had was trackball related, so a trackpad will fix that. As far as I know full specs have not been released on this phone yet so ...will it be similiar to the 9700? Hopefully, since that is a great phone.
