Blackberry Curve 2 ring tones not working for contacts

My ringtones for text messages aren't working.  I have different ring tones for each contact. The one that's already in the phone is the one that's being used. It's over riding the indivudal contacts.  I've tried everything to fix it.  I even did a security wipe and it still didn't work.  

 

 Do you think it has something to do with the media card that I used for a different phone?  How do you formant the media card?

That may be the problem, that you didn't format the card. First save all data from the card to your computer, because formatting will erase everything. Then, with the card in the BlackBerry, go to Options, then Media Card, then press the menu key to find the Format Card option. Once finished, the BlackBerry folders will be there and you can transfer your files back to it.
