i have the intensity 3. phone works fine except that it refuses refuses refuses refuses to sync music from my computer. i have went under settings and tools>tools> to usb mass storage. I have tried using windows media player and i started sync and it said syncing and gave a percentage of being done on each song, then unhooked phone when all done and went under my music and it said no songs.i have called verizon tech support and this is my fourth day of working on this issue for an hr each time. i even took out the memory card put it in a reader to my computer and dragged song file onto card, put it back into my phone and went to my music, again phone says no music. i went back and tried hooking up my phone again, tried again, still says no music. i opened my music files on my computer and open the phone files and tried to drop and drag from one screen to the phone file screen, went to phone and my music, phone said no music. just dont understand why this cant be easy. verizon tech said it might be memory card. i have to call kingston electronic group to see if they can send me another card as he thinks its a defective card. cmon cell phone carriers and computer manufacturers do what you say your equipment can do! i told verizon tech the only thing i havent tried is going to captain kirk in the future and having him miniturize a cd for me and then i could stuff the music cd into the phone! did i mention that this phone will not not not not not sync my music?

Are you putting the songs in the music folder on the card? My phone the songs have to be in the music folder. Assume other phones are similar. Maybe reformat the card and try again. Mary

hi thanks for your help! i took out my sd card out of the phone, put it into my card reader on my computer, then went under start and my music, then added songs thru windows media player, computer said syncing, and with a percentage of being done next to each song title, then said snycing complete, then i put my card back into my phone, then went under my music on my phone and it said no music--i just cant get it to add music,it finally did add 21 songs onto my card which is in my phone,i guess 21 is better than nothing, verizon rep on phone agreed with me that its hard to get a basic phone to add music, thanks

I don't know if this will help any, but page 107 of your manual talks about adding music to your phone/SD card:

Have you tried reformatting the SD card (that will wipe out everything that's on it) or a different card?

On my ENV3 I just go to the folder with the music on the computer and drag and drop them to the music folder on the card.  I don't have to use media player or sync anything, give that a try.  Mary

Floorguyjimh72 - With so many formats out there for music, there may be an issue with the songs you are trying to transfer. If the songs copied over through Windows Media Player, there is a slight chance that maybe the songs that you copied over may be in a Windows audio format. This is usually an encrypted format that only allows for playback on the original PC or compatible device. Do you know if the songs you are transferring are .mp3 or possibly .wma format? If you look at the contents of the SD card, in the music folder, it will let you know what format the songs are in. That could be the issue at hand as to why the phone does not recognize your songs. Also, you do not need Windows Media Player to transfer the music, you may also just Click and Drag from folder to folder to copy over your music.
