I've been connecting my Chocolate Touch to my Vista laptop to download Outlook appointments into the phone's calendar. This worked fine.
I recently upgraded to a Windows 7 laptop, and I can't get the LG CDMA USB Modem driver to work. I think I installed it properly (once I finally found it on LG's site), but when I plug in the phone, the laptop makes the dun-dun-dun "not happy" sound. In the Device Manager, LG CDMA USB Modem is listed under "Other devices" with a yellow caution symbol. It says the driver is not installed.
How do I get my phone talking to Win7?

Aha! Found it. It's well-hidden on the LG site.

Now Win7 is talking to my phone just fine.

No thanks. This phone meets my needs just fine, much cheaper than those fancy smarthones, or at least it did with Vista. The LG site indicated it's supposed to be supported on Win7. I just need to get it to work!
