For no apparent reason, neither my phone, nor my computer will recognize my micro-card. This is hightly annoying, since they have both been recognizing it llike crazy for a couple of years.
Any hints as to what I can/needto do?

Does another card work in your phone or computer? If a new card works, then the problem is likely the old card....

Hello Shop99er, thanks for posting!
I understand this is annoying and would like to help!
In your first post you mentioned the memory card wasn't working in your phone nor your computer. The last post you mentioned it doesn't work in your phone, however it works in your computer. If you could, clarify this for me and I can see if the issue is with the card or possibly the phone. When the card is inserted in the phone or in the computer, do you get an error message?
Message me directly with the requested information so I can further assist.

Huh.
I replied to Anthony on the 21st, he rplied on the 27th, and I replied to him on the 27th.
Now, here we are 2 weeks later and nothing from him.
Evidently, this isn't fixable......or important.

We have a Samsung phone (u370). It has a bug where if you listen to music with headphones plugged in then the phone inevitably will suddenly stop seeing the memory card. Turning the phone off and then turning the phone on again causes the phone to see the memory card just fine again. The phone every once in awhile will stop seeing the memory card while going back and forth between viewing videos stored on the memory card and viewing the list of videos stored on the memory card.
I don't know what the chances are that this solution might fix your situation.

This definitely is fixable & important, Shop99er!
Were you able to save the files to your computer & then format the card from your computer?
That would be the next step in trying to determine why your computer reads the card but your phone won't.
Did you get an error message when you put the SD card in the phone? How about when you tried to put the SD card in another phone? What we need to determine is whether or not the SD card or the phone is the problem.
I look forward to hearing back from you if you are still having this issue.

Hello.
There were no files on the card, so that's good. I haven't tried to format the card on the computer. Do I need to?
The only thing the phone tells me is that I don't have a card in it, when in fact, I do.
And, I don't have another phone to try the card with.

Thanks for the idea, but this doesn't seem to be the problem.

Well, it's been nearly 2 weeks since the last time a Verizon Tech "helped".
It appears that the only thing they can/are willing to do is ask me the same questions, over and over. Perish forbid that they should actually help.
So, this is for any of the "support staff" that may stumble into this.
Don't help. You haven't yet, and I don't believe you ever will.
