I know it's probably too late, but I hope you didn't order the enV Touch---it's the 2nd worst phone I've had (the other one was another LG phone that snapped in half when I held it in a normal way).
Hopefully, you found something you are happy with

I brought my EnV Touch when it first came out. I was all excited and it worked well for a while. Then one day I turned on my phone and was texting and it turns off on me. I just restarted the phone and thought no more of it. Recently I have been having problems daily with the phone going white and turning off. I also been having problems with the speaker. So if you are having the same problems get rid of the phone if you can. It's my upgrade but can't afford the data plan that all Verizon phones need. So I may be stuck! But get out if you can!

babyadams, have you had opportunity to replace your enV Touch? If you are interested in doing so, please PM me with your account information and a contact number, and I will be happy to reach out to you.
Thanks,

I've had my enV touch for almost a year now, and I've determined that this phone is a piece of crap. You can't give a teenager a phone that's this sensitive to EVERYTHING, no matter what it is, heat, touch screen sensitivity, random shut offs, charging problems, and a severe inability to stay synced to my PC, and expect it to last two full years, no problems. Granted, I do have insurance on it, but I refuse to pay $100 to get a new piece of crap, just to have it do the same behaviors shortly after I get it.
Being a 16 year old girl, my cell phone is my lifeline to my friends, family, and work. This phone randomly shuts off, and I miss calls/texts from my boss, and get into trouble, or the charge life can't make it 10 hours, and now, the stupid thing ONLY works FROM THE INSIDE, and ONLY WHEN IT'S ON THE CHARGER.
I paid a lot of money for this phone, and I really want an upgrade to something new. All I've ever had are LG phones, and they've all sucked. Problem after problem, and it's getting to the point of absolutely ridiculousness. Not only are 80% of the employees at my local Verizon store rude, they never have the phone anyone is looking for in stock, and they take yours and leave you phoneless for a week, while they snail mail you the one you ordered. This is really enough to make me want to switch to AT&T. Their users don't have this many problems.

When I had my EnV Touch I had the same problem. You're more than likely running an old version of the software (V7 or so can't remember exactly) which does not correctly save your settings in the right locations so you lose your wallpaper settings, ringer settings, etc. What you'll have to do is take it in to a Verizon Corporate Store and have them do a software update for you. The newest version of software is VX11KV11 I believe. To check what version you have go to: Settings & Tools>Phone Info>Softwware/Hardware Version and it will have your current version listed there. Depending on what version you have it may be possible to do an over-the-air (OTA) update, but that wasn't the case for me as the download was too large for over the air.

version 11 is the WORST... go no higher than 9. I went to 11 and had nothing but problem (they gave me a replacement with V9 and I gladly accepted it
