LG EnV3 vx9200 on prepaid daily plan?

CAN THE ENV3 BE PUT ON PREPAID DAILY PLAN AGAIN?!

When the LG env3's first cam out, a few of my friends jumped and upgraded to them on their prepaid daily plans cuz env2's suck feature-wise compared to env1 but env2 was modern looking both with it's display and it's physical looks. Env3 was everything good about the EnV1 mixed with the good about the EnV2. By the time i got the money to get one, i couldn't get it on the prepaid daily plan with texting only. I was required to be put on a 64.99 a month prepaid plan instead of the 20 i was paying. so i had to sale my Env3 i just got for 120 bucks. Ended up trading it to a friend for his broke PS3 i fixed and traded for an xbox360. Now I am hearing rumors that the EnV3 is available on prepaid daily plan again! IS THIS TRUE? I'm happy with my cosmos touch right now, just wondering in case my cosmos touch completely craps out.

is the pre-paid expert around here!  I have heard of some that were able to use it on a daily pre-paid and others were told it wasn't able to be used.  Since it no longer requires the data, and is considered a basic phone, or an obsolete "multi-media" phone, I would think you could activate it as a daily pre-paid.  Minniehaha should know for sure.

The last I heard (and I could be wrong) was that the ENG 3 was not compatible with the daily prepaid phones. Here are a list of perpaid compatible and non compatible features.Check with prepaid customer service at 1-888-294-6804 to be sure. I find sometimes if you call a few different customer reps you will get different answers. 

PREPAID PHONES

There have been some newer ones added but there not on my list yet, I need to upgrade the list.

6015i -- KIYOCERA --KWC 2325, KX414 -- MOTOROLA -- MotoW755, RazrV3m, V376, W385 -- PANTECH -- Jest -- Verizon -- Blitz, CDM7075, CDM8615, M7076, PN215 --

 

Most Verizon Wireless phones will work with our prepaid plans

. The only phones that are not compatible with our service are Push to Talk, PDAs/Smartphones, advance data devices (BlackBerry, PalmOne Treo, etc.), PC Card devices and handsets with HTML Web browser such as the LG Dare, LG Voyager, Samsung Glyde, Samsung Omnia and Motorola Krave and all Dashboard-capable devices like the LG Chocolate 3, LG VX 8360, Motorola Rapture VU30, Nokia 7205 Intrigue and Samsung Renown SCH-u810. Keep in mind features such as V CAST video, Mobile TV, and Chaperone services are not available for prepaid service." 

Non Prepaid Phones

I use the daily prepaid plan because all I do is texts mostly.  I was told that I could use my sister's Env Touch on my prepaid daily plan by a verizon representative if I wanted too.  I would assume that you could use the Env 3 too.  I wouldn't definitely call and ask them!! :-)!!  That would be great if you could use it on the daily prepaid plans!! 

Verizon needs to make more fancy phones come out for prepaid.....instead of having to have us rely on our sister's upgrades to get her old phones that are better than the new prepaid feature phones hahahaha jk

Any phone that has a touch screen will not work with a Daily Prepaid plan. Most of the Reps don't understand that the prepaid daily is different than the Monthly Prepaid or the contract phones. I use the daily because I'm a texter and I buy the $30.00 card for 90 days of service so I'm paying $10.00 per month, you can't beat that. Everyone I know is on Verizon  so it works out good for me. If you ever have a question you can put it on the prepaid section of the community site or

You can use touch screen phones on the daily prepaid plan (99 cents).  I am using my sister's LG Env Touch on my prepaid plan, and my dad has the extravert.  I just switch over to it yesterday.  So Touch Screens WILL work with Daily Prepaid plans.  Usually as long as the phone is retired, and it is a basic phone, it will typically work on the daily plan.

So you could use the Env 1, 2, 3, or touch on daily prepaid or monthly prepaid or what not.

I know this because I'm using the Env Touch right now on my daily prepaid plan :-)!!!!!
