I've had this phone for a while. Now it will not clock and goto sleep properly and it appears to think the keyboard is always open. It is a 1.1 Rev phone with the version 6 Verizon software. Does anyone have any suggestions? I get about 1 day of battery life with it in this state. I've tried pulling the battery and the factory reset. The phone is in good shape otherwise and about 1.5 years old. Does anyone know how the phone detects open vs. closed, is it software, or hardware? I've had other issues with software updates basically making my phones unusable. Wondering if I'm having the same issue here.
entouch: Have you noticed if the issue is related in any way to when your phone runs or attempts to run the BackUp assistant app ?
I have not notice that. It is basically stuck in this mode all the time at this point. I know the rep used the backup asst to restore the data after he tried the factory reset.
