I'm interested in a good simple flip phone with the Verizon message+  app.

I had this phone's predecessor the DuraXV LTE and it had the great Message+ app. 

From this link https://www.verizon.com/support/kyocera-dura-xv-extreme/apps-and-widgets/

"Verizon Messages (Message+)"

it seemed like the updated Extreme also had it. 

After purchasing it I see that it was removed.

Even on the Kyocera website it's not listed in the specs.  You probably have to move up to a smart phone if you want message plus.

I know having all the features you used to have is nice when you get your new phone, Here1. I would love to help and clarify if the Verizon Messages + is an option on this phone. I was able to do some research and I do not see this option available on this device. I am sad to say that we do not know if it will ever be on this phone. You do have a 14- day Worry-Free Guarantee on this device. If you do not like it then you can exchange the device. Has it been past 14-days?

Here1, I see the link show you additional concerns and answers for the device. At this time, the Messages+ application would not be on this device.

I got my new Kyocera XV Extreme this year and like it a lot.

But wanted more messaging options, so installed Verizon Message + app on a new iPad.

I can connect, briefly, using my cell number with the Messages app on the iPad, but have to keep getting the Q pass image, scan it , just to use .  Then it will work for a while, then get Disconnected :

"This device has been disconnected from Integrated Messaging... Press Ok to erase all messages... reconect"

Is there any way to stay connected?  Or another way to be able to store and save text messages using the Kyocera?
