I never implied that VZW should be anything less than compelled to try and resolve the issue...regardless of how much you spend each month. What I said was that if the problem is on Apple's end it would make it more difficult for VZW to resolve something they did not do. They can not just take your word for it that you only purchased one device IF Apple somehow entered it in the system that you purchased 2 devices. Yes, you could show them a receipt with one device purchased on it, but it's possible that you purchased both devices on separate transactions (Iam saying this only IF it were something that was done...so don't think I am saying you did purchase 2). Another very interesting thing that does not seem to make any sense...what is the MEID attached to the 2nd device that was supposedly purchased? Apple and/or VZW should be able to tell you this or see this...because if they wanted to prevent you from being able to sell the device and have it activated by someone else they would be able to block it in their systems and no one would be able to activate it until that ESN/MEID was cleared. Have you or Apple asked about this?

You stated that both parties were blaming each other...so it's possible that if Apple doesn't want to take responsibility for their part they would say that they have no idea what VZW is talking about when it comes to a second phone being sold. At any rate, if you are completely convinced that only VZW is responsible for whatever is going on then I get the impression that it doesn't matter what anyone says you will continue to believe that without a doubt. Hopefully you get something resolved. If not, hopefully you will be happier on Sprint or whichever other carrier you choose. Again, if you have not passed the 14 day return period I would suggest returning the 4s you do have to at least cut down on your ETF fees....you'll have to purchases new devices with your next carrier anyway so keeping it if you're leaning towards switching would be pointless. Either way, good luck with whatever you end up doing.

I would ask vzw if the esn# for both of these so called purchases match. They can tell u where u bought it from since vzw should have info on the contract. Only vzw can change the upgrade date back.

Personally i understand what ur going through all this time ur spending on it.

one time i had a phone that never worked but I couldn't make it to the store to replace it within 14 days so because there policy is that they give u a brand new replacement so they gave me a new one over the phone.

After they sent it to me it asked me to do another 2yr contract. I found out they billed $250 to my account as well as used another upgrade I was going to use later. I appreciate all effort and I somewhat understood the money but upgrades are important. Eventually I got the money back as a credit.

So then I asked for a manager to change the date as well as the upgrade. This took awhile like 2-3 days. Finnaly the did that after I proved what was going on. They didn't change the date back which they should have but they gave me the upgrade. I wish they told me, as u probably wish this was over for u. Just wanted to tell u my story. Ur not alone in things going wrong plus companies do blame the other companies or blame the customer at first. The truth of what ur saying will be proven. Don't give up it will work out. Give us an update.
