restore upgrade eligibility

I was eligible for an upgrade so purchased an iPhone 6s at Target. I returned the phone to Target for a full refund the very next day. How long does it take for my account to show that I am once again upgrade eligible? It's currently showing the iPhone 6s upgrade info even though the phone was returned last week.

We know how exciting it is to get a brand new device. Because this was done through Target we have to wait for the return to fully process on their end before we can update our system. Generally, this will take 24-48  hours. Was the upgrade done as a two year agreement or a device payment upgrade? How many days ago did this take place?

I purchased the phone on 12/17 and returned it on 12/18. It was mistakenly processed on the device payment plan which is why I returned it. I wanted a new 2-year agreement.nicholek_vzw

Verizon Wireless Customer Support Still no resolution to this issue with Target. I talked to the Target Mobile rep who sold me the phone. He asked me to scan and send him all of my documentation and return receipts. From the sound of his reply, it sounds like someone at Target stole the returned phone from the Customer Service desk. That was a week ago. Now I can't get a reply from him or anyone at the store. In the meantime, my account still shows that I own the phone on the monthly payment plan so I can't upgrade. Not sure what to do next.nicholek_vzw

Have you gone to the store manager at Target with your physical receipts showing that you returned the device? Seems like the best step to take as your receipt is your proof

It can take two full billing cycles for your eligibility to appear on your account. This is especially true when you go through a third party for a new phone and that third party screws it up.
