can my iphone be foud/tracked without my iphone app?
IIn the old days, it was possible for the carrier to figure out approximately where a cell phone was. It may be easier now that they all have GPS. You can always call ane ask.
FInd my iPhone is a very reliable method of finding and bricking your cell phone, so no one else can use it. I assume you declined to turn this on on your phone? Are you absolutely SURE? If you login to icloud on a computer with your Apple ID and check find my iPhone, it will at least confirm if it was a feature you turned on or not.
