Why did my iPhone screen go black?

I charged my iphone, fullky charged, then it just went black. cant turn it back on or reboot. it just turned into an iphone brick.

If under a year old take it to an Apple Store and they will assist you.

Try unplugging it and plugging it back into the charger to see if it will turn on. Also, you can try plugging it in your computer to connect to itunes. Normally when power and home buttons do not work that is what will turn them on.
