1. Fraudulent trade-in offers. Customers are induce to upgrade phones,
change from another carrier to Verizon, or buy into 2 more years of a
new, "better & cheaper" plan.
The Verizon customer community has established, in my opinion, that the
the various frauds mentioned above are practiced consistently by Verizon.
Each of us has felt alone, confused by company reps.
Questions, "where is the phone credit?" are met with bold lies delivered
with glib confidence. We allow the call to end, following the reps 's
advice to "Go on and check your plan honey, look at your bill, the
numbers come out right, you'll see."
2. Verizon online representatives lying to consumers about
terms: Just a few rogue reps, or standard
operating procedure?
3. Verizon bills. Why do the reasonable rates we sign up
for consistently lead to large
monthly bills even when we stay within
our plan limits for data and minutes.?
