Is there a way to look at the history of texts and what phone numbers I received texts from or sent texts to?

iMessages won't be included as they don't go through VzW's servers.

I use a program called iMazing (on the Mac) that lets you download text history. It works pretty well and serves as ongoing backup for iPhone.
