Promotions for loyal customers

Newbie

I'm a 10+ year Verizon customer with 4 lines.

My issue with Verizon is that they seem to always run the better promotions to get new customers and seem to do very little for those of us that have stuck with them even though they are NOT the cheapest option.

Currently Verizon is running a BOGO on the iPones.  Oh, but by the way in order to get it you have to add a new line.  WELL, I DON'T NEED A NEW LINE.  I ALREADY HAVE 4 LINES.

I have never seen a deal like this for existing customers.  They are extremely frustrating.

Anyone else feel this pain?

We value your feedback and thank you for being a longtime customer. As a fellow consumer, I know firsthand how important it is to get the best deal for our devices. We often run promotions that do not require the addition of a new line, so we hope you look for those in the near future. Here is a link that you can use to keep up with the available promotions. https://www.verizonwireless.com/deals/

This deal is not limited to only new customers. We have many longtime customers that have added a family member to their plan which has benefitted them with this offer.

They have deals for curent customers. And they do BOGO for new cusotms because it brings in new revenue. Give you a $1000 for free without adding a new line, how does that do anything? Kind of hard for them to make back that $1000

My girlfriend has the original Pixel which she got on a promo for $10 a month making it $240 over 2 years. On a regular data plan, the line charge is $20 or $240 for 2 years.

Nothing is really free when you take the blinders off. It just so happened we didn't need to add a new line to qualify. If we added a new line for a new line promo, the cost of service would have came out to the same $240 in the long run.

It gets annoying when people constantly complain about BOGO deals. If you don't need a new line, it's not a promo aimed at you, simple.

People feel entitled to free $1000 phone for being "loyal" whatver they think that means. It's not what they think it means. Basically even though they could have gone with another carrier and saved $1000 over the last 2 years and have enough to get that $1000 phone, instead they choose to stay with Verizon pay $1000 extra and now expect to be "rewarded" for that bad financial decision with a free $1000 phone.
