Check to see if LTE is set to "Data Only" OR "Voice & Data" in the settings menu. Try toggling to whatever it is NOT presently set to & see if that helps.
Let us know your results.

We want you to be able to talk everywhere you are, Beach_Talk. I agree with DigitalRules. Please check to see if you have Advanced Calling on. Here is how: http://vz.to/1UzLZam
Also, what zip are you in? Do others have issues with signal in your home?

Thank you but that wasn't the problem. We both have new phones with same problem. I've been using wifi enabled calls thru my internet provider my iPhone 5 &6.
I need to be able to answer the phone again without going outside in the rain - it's a business line. In the past when I called Verizon support I was given a number to call to refresh / update with the cell towers. I was told to do it regularly.

We want you to get the reliable service you deserve Beach_Talk. The number that you were previously advised to dial would only apply to our 3G devices so that would not work on the phones you currently have. To confirm, is the issue with the service only happening inside your home? Are you having this trouble when attempting to use WiFi calling or are you trying to make and receive the calls over our network?

We are glad that you internet service provider was able to provide you an application that allows your iPhone 5 to have the Wi-Fi Calling capability. You can refresh the network settings within both devices by going to: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You can perform a test call by dialing #832. Keep us posted of any changes.
