Long story short, i had an iphone 5c, claimed insurance on it and got another, i stayed with that phone up until yesterday when i upgraded to a 6.
i gave my old 5c to a friend to activate on her metroPCS account, but she was told there was an installment plan and she couldnt activate it.
checked multiple sites, checked the IMEI number and it was clear, called verizon and asurian or how ever you spell it and everything was clean, there were no installment plans on this particular phone.
however i check the verizon buyback page, enter the same id number, and im told that there is an installment plan on the phone and it cant be sold.
im guessing this was the error the metroPCS people saw too? however, what the heck do i do now? why is this one particular verizon page telling me there is an installment plan when there isnt?
