All of a sudden iMessage has stopped working.  Verizon rep said an apple problem, apple says Verizon problem.  Any help?

Hi LYNNMJ122, could you go to Settings > Messages. Just to be sure a required setting is not turned off.

It is not turned off. Went from working one day to not the next

   Lynn, could you go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings, to see if this may help?

Do you have a Wi-Fi or Verizon connection? Are you able to log on to your iCloud account?

I read somewhere about deleting some old messages. Did that seems to be working now. If it happens again will,try to reset network
