Custom voicemail won't update...

My second I phone 6 won't set up voice mail please help.

I went to http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-115753/

To make sure i was doing it correctly. When I save the voicemail it sits on an updating screen Indefinetly and if I leave this screen it reverts back to the default verizon message.

I have restarted the phone multiple times now to get it to work and even left it on the saving page over night.

This certainly is odd! Let's get your voicemail figured out. The line that this iPhone is currently on, is it a brand new line of service? If not, what model phone did it have before? When you dial out to the voicemail of that phone *86, do you get through?
