I don't need 4g LTE coverage, can i get 3g access with a 4s device and a 4g sim card?

Thank you so much for reaching out to us. The iPhone 4s will only work on the 3G network. It is not compatible on our 4G LTE network. The sim card slot in the 4S is for global travels. I hope this is able to answer your questions. Please keep us posted if you have any other questions or concerns.
