Can I swap my iphone 5s sim card to an iphone 5 and the service will jump over?

I just broke my iphone 5s and might buy an older 5 to replace it.  Can I just put the sim card from the 5s in the replacement 5 and the service will switch over?

Yes, swapping phones is usually as easy as moving the SIM card to the new phone.  If you run into issues, you also can activate the phone via your on-line My Verizon account or by contacting Customer Service.

Just ensure that the phone you purchase is Verizon branded with a clean ESN/MEID.
