Apple Watch "Discount"

So this is what I was told by Verizon.  If you want to buy an Apple Watch, the 50% off is only on the Apple Watch 3, otherwise you can get $150 off.  I wanted to buy a Apple Watch 5 for me and one for a friend, they said that there would not even be a $150 discount because the two watches are not on the same account.

Conclusion:  There is NO POINT in buying the watches from Verizon.  BUY THEM FROM APPLE AND AVOID THE MIDDLE MAN (Verizon).  If Verizon does not want to sell me Apple Watch 5's I have no issue with that.

I sent a request for a phone call and have not received one.

 It seems to me there is a point of you buying at least one watch from Verizon and getting one of those discounts. Right?

And I want to buy two.  Sprint has Apple Watch 5 actually half off.  Not appreciating the lack of communication on Verizons part.

I dunno what you were expecting, honestly. Promos are tied to the account they are purchased on.

‘ based on the information you received, and you posted in your earlier post, it seems to me Verizon did a very good job of communicating. You just didn’t like what they had to say which is not the same thing. 

 

So why aren’t you switching to Sprint?   Maybe you’re not OK with having service 1/10 of the time ?  Maybe you are, so then go ahead and switch to sprint. There is a reason Verizon costs more. They edge out AT&T by a hair. Nevertheless they are often worth the expense.

I used the watch150 discount promotion on my 2 CPO watches and I did not get the discount.  I thought the promo was for any watch.  Please advise.  Thanks.

By CPO, you mean certified preowned? Those are already discounted devices they wouldn’t be included in the sale price or discount codes for new phones, watches or tablets
