Got my update today on a Samsung Note 4; nothing yet on some Motorola Mini's also registered with our account. The Lookout app confirms that my Note 4 is fixed (see above), so I recommend it to others. I have a Note 3 but it is offline, so updates don't work ... can't check it.

Only Samsung can answer your question. Samsung is the company that has to write the update with the fix. Verizon Wireless doesn't touch the code.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Then it might be in the testing and certification phase. Verizon Wireless is verifying the update doesn't break their network before approval for deployment.

The people that know exactly if they did or not you didn't talk to. Low level reps are the worse to talk to because they often will say something to get you off the phone. Any respectable news/fan site will tell you take any information from a low level rep with a grain of salt as they never give any confirmable data.

LOL. "Tech support" transferred my call to Samsung rep who never heard of
an android virus of any kind.
