visual voicemail problems

Just purchased a droid turbo and attempted to setup visual voicemail. I got through the settings selections but when the screen says "setting up, please wait" it does not proceed. The feature is setup on my account. I would like to use the feature, not a third party app. What do I do next?

Make sure WiFi is off and you have data connection from Vzw

Go online and make sure that Basic Visual Voicemail is added to your account. It could be possible that app purchases could be blocked on your account.
