Here is what I got on swappa. So this would mean that the issue is on FreedomPOP website/Database?

It would seem that way. You can look for other ways to identify any esn issues, but you may want to call Verizon because that error seems unusual if the phone is indeed free of any payment owed etc.
I don't know how pre-paid works, but you could look into straight talk and just go through the motions of adding the phone to see if it's doable and see if you come up with anymore errors. You're kind of at the point where you are just ruling things out to be the problem.
