I got a Gallaxy SIII six months ago and for the last three months have had issues with downloading apps and upgrading existing app, with a unknown error -26 occuring. Essentially, I have a dumb phone. Called verizon, called google, called help desk at work. Did a full factory reset and now cannot install after the MDM client has been installed (Samsung). Anyone else having this issue? New phone time?

This sounds like a serious situation. I am sorry to hear that you are having so many troubles with your phone. When did this begin? Was it after any type of software update, or maybe a new app installed? When you spoke with Samsung what did they say? Any additional details you can provide would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi Erin,
Thanks for the follow up. You should find a ticket for my account, which
has all the details. I may request an upgrade or phone from work, because
I have no desire to pay for a phone that I cannot use. For example, I am
travelling and have a translation app but cannot download. Facebook?
Forget it. All I can do is look at work email and need to chose between
that an the purposes I bought the phone for (personal enjoyment). If you
don't have ready answer, I would not spend more time. I was trying to
source from the community because the experts don't have the answers.
