I have been told that when I reply in a threaded message, my text has a bunch of numbers, coded lines, etc. It never did that. What can it be?

Does this occur with all messages you send to everyone or only to one recipient?

It may be a signature that you have added to all your texts. It may be emoji's that the recipient's phone can't interpret properly. If you are using a custom font or background color or other custom formatting for text messages, and the recipient phone can't "read" it, it might show as numbers and letters.
The other day I sent a group message to my kids, with a photo attached. One of them didn't get the photo, but a text message full of random letters. Once I sent the photo individually, not as part of the group, he got it fine. Maybe that's what's happening?
