I just bought a new Droid LG Ally and need to set it up so that I can send and recieve e-mails from my 2 Outlook e-mail accounts. I have tried and keep getting error messages. Any ideas/experience with this?

Settings on a mobile device are different than on a computer connected directly to the site that has your mail.
Who is your provider??? If you are uncomfortable to offer the info, Google, "Mobile email settings" for whomever is your provider. POP3 works for incoming in most cases but the server name may be different than on your PC. Outgoing mail almost always needs an SSL connection and a different port number.

I was surprised that the Android software did not have an appt or function to work with Outlook except on an Exchange basis. After a little research and reading a bunch of forums and websites decided to try CompanionLink Software. They have a 14 day free trial, but after setting it up on my laptop am quite happy with how it works and its ease of setup. Go to: http://www.companionlink.com/ to review. Went with the wireless version of the product. You can see a nice video on how easy it is to setup at the bottom of the page. http://www.companionlink.com/products/clg-googlesync/companionlinkforgoogle-android-outlook.html?pi...
