samsung illusion keeps losing service

I have a smasung illusion that keeps losing service. Each time I have to remove the battery to restore Verizon service. This happens anywhere from once to 10 times in a 24 hour period.  Tried to update software but it error message pops up and says try again when service is restore, and this is when the phone actually has service. Phone is prepaid. Any advice?

When you remove the battery try pressing the power button for 20sec.  in conjunction with the battery pull see if that helps..

They hours should be the same as Customer Service..

7:00AM  till  11:00PM  Mon. - Sunday..
