samsung fascinate or lg vortex?

I can upgrade now and I currently have the LG Dare. Im looking to upgrade to a smartphone and I have been researching what kind to get. I have narrowed it down to the Samsung fascinate and the lg vortex. I text a lot and get on facebook quite much so I need a phone that's battery can stand that. Any suggestions?

The Fascinate is such a sexy phone and it works very well.  It has a bigger and much more beautiful screen. 

Battery life on each will be about the same with how much you use it.  you may get an extra hour out of the vortex because of the smaller screen.

BUT

Just buy an extra charger, this way you have one at work and one at home.  I use my phone all day long and the only way I make it through the day is because I have a charging dock at work with an extra charger!

I would also recommend buying certified pre owned.

Save $140 as opposed to buying brand new.

As you were told in the Fascinate forums, do not buy either, get one of the other high-end phones from a different manufacturer, the Droid 2, Droid X, Droid incredible (if you can find it) or HTC Thunderbolt. Any of them is preferable to the trainwreck that is the Fascinate, and the Vortex is entry-level.

I have 0 issues with galaxy s or the fascinate. The vortex is a fine phone, just smaller and has a lesser processor. Imho, the fascinate takes some of the best pix out of most smartphones. Im not sure how the fascinate is labeled as a trainwreck unless you are referring to the update being delayed for flash player.
