My outgoing e-mail just sits in the out box. I have the sign in box checked. I'm using Cox, can anybody help!
Have you tried Enabling "SSL?" Or if it's enabled, have you tried Disabling it? You can do this under the Email account, and then settings, and OutGoing Server Settings. Also, Do you have "Login Required" Checked? If so try unchecking it for a test.
It seems your ports are set up incorrectly. You will need to go into the settings and change your POP to pop.east.cox.net and then change your SMTP to smtp.east.cox.net. This should resolve your problem. Hope this helps.
