Hello,
Am I the only Ally owner in the world who has an iMAC? When I connect via USB there is no USB msg. on notification bar.
There are no drivers for MAC on lgmobilephones.com site. Do I need a driver?Do I have to format the card? What do I do?
Why is this such a mystery? I want to transfer files to the phone from my computer.
Thanks,
Rich

I have provided some information below that will help with mounting your device with a Mac.
If your SD card is saying busy or not showing up in the notification bar, I would review the following sections:
***Please note a SD card is required.
Step 1 - Mounting your SD card (if you have an existing SD card)
-Select your menu key
-Select settings
-Select SD card & phone storage
-Mount SD card (if Unmount is showing, it should be already recognized and may need to be formatted)
If step 1 worked, you can put the device in Mass Storage mode so that the computer will recognize your device. I have provided the instructions below.

Step 2 - Formatting the SD card ***If step 1 did not resolve the issue
***Caution, if there is information already on the SD card, it will be erased. The step for formatting is below:

Step 3 - Lastly, if step 2 does not work, I would recommend removing the SD card, and placing it back in. I have provided the instructions below:

***you may also want to try another USB port on the Mac (if available).
