when i first got my phone i set it up so that all of my facebook friends were sync'd into my contact list....now i want to unsync this option and i dont know what to do!

You can go to settings and then Accounts&Sync, and remove the Facebook app from your accounts.... It will then remove the contacts from your contact list. Once they are gone, you can Add the Facebook account settings back to your Ally and this time when it prompts you to sync your contacts you can choose the option you want to use.
