hey nubie to smart phones, just got droid and can't sync itunes. downloaded doubletwist and the app is not opening to second screen..suggestions

Don't think you can sync directly with itunes. You'll have to drag & drop songs directly into the memory card. About the app, have you tired uninstalling and then reinstalling it?
when you say it won't open to second screen? Which second screen are you referring to? doubletwist should look similiar to itunes ...when you connect your phone to the computer via usb are you switching it to harddrive mode (or mounted mode)...if you don't do that doubletwist won't recognize the phone....
on first time loading up you will have to allow it time to also go and import the information from itunes into the doubletwist program....after you have it loaded (which may take a bit of time depending on the amount of music that you have and the speed of your computer's processor)...and the phone is connected and recognized, then just click the lil sync button to the bottom right.
