How come I'm paying 60 a month for unlimited talk and text with 2gig data when sprint offers unlimited everything for only $50.. Why shouldn't I switch to the better deal? Sprint is just as good as verizon in my area

Because Verizon made you sign up with them...wait...no they didn't. My sarcasm runs deep, I could go into long explanation of free enterprise system, capitalism, yada- yada... But you get it. You have the right to leave.
PLease read the fine print on Sprints "unlimited data" plans.
Service may be equal in your area, just don't leave the area and expect to connect.
its people that leave, that help drive the bills down for those who stay. So it's a win-win....

Hi stevemh, let me explain a couple of things, you can always find a lower price, whether it pertains to carpentry work or mobile service etc. The lowest or highest price doesn't mean you'll get the best job.
I have a friend that had Verizon for years and decided to go with Sprint. Only to find she was in a dead zone at her house which was only 2 miles from the Sprint store she got the account with. She ended up going back with Verizon.
Now if you are certain the Sprint coverage is going to be adequate for you, well you save $10 bucks.
Verizon is the largest carrier in the United States. There's a reason for that, the public are not stupid. Verizon has the best and latest coverage and best support of all the carriers.
So don't jump ship too fast and find yourself in a 2 year contract that wasn't what you expected over $10 bucks. Sprint has been going around offering to buy out contracts just to get customers, that sounds desperate! Verizon doesn't have to do that to get customers. Give it some thought, goodluck

Sprint works just great. Switched to Verizon from sprint cause I moved to different area awhile. And I'd save more then just 10$ because I wouldn't keep going over and adding additional 10$ for every gig I go over.. I know its just a matter of time before every company cuts their price alot to compete with a the prepaid companies that offer 30/40/50 unlimited everything's. I don't have to have people try to explain obvious things, post was more so to share my belief as to how its silly more so then ask advice on what to do. I'm no idiot here lol

If you want unlimited data form Sprint you better switch soon. Sprint has stated they will be dumping unlimited data in 2015. Unlimited data isn't sustainable. The $50 price is only if you want an iPhone. If you want Android or other type of phone it's $60. Also there is a $20 phone charge that you forgot to add. Also tethering is limited to 5 GB. So that's not really "unlimited". Also the "unlimited data" is only when you're on Sprint's network. So while Sprint might be good where you live where you travel too it probably isn't.
