lolipop update and bluetooth issues

When using my bluetooth with my car for phone calls or music it will switch between the handset and the car speakers since the Lolipop update?

You have done some great troubleshooting so far. Since you have been able to determine that the problem lies with just your phone, the next step will be to back up and perform a factory reset. He have found that the Lollipop update functions the best on a clean slate. The links below will help you with backing up the phone and then factory resetting it.

Thank you for contacting us with your concern. What is the make and model of the phone you are using? Have you tried to remove the saved Bluetooth connection and re-paring the device? Have you tried using the phone in another car to see if the same issues occur?

Samsung galaxy s4 I have tried removing and repairing the device. I tried my phone in another car. I have also tried my wifes phone in my car and she has the phone and have had no problems.
